OVERVIEW
Munnar literally means the land of 3 Rivers, collaqually Mun means Three and Aar means rivers. It is a small hilly town , with the 3 rivers converging. The town is famous for both flora and fauna and is town has shades of colonial influence. Thekkady, is a semi hill station with salubrious climate and is spice bowl of the region. Mararikulam, is a quiet beach resort and to be enjoyed, especially the sun set where the sun seems to meet the sea. Finally, after enjoying Munnar and Thekkady drive down to the plains and get to see exotic backwaters of Alleppey/Kumarakom.

ITINERARY
Day 1 : COCHIN/MUNNAR (140 Kms/ 5 HRS)
Pick up from Cochin Airport/ Ernakulam Railway Station. Drive to Munnar. Munnar is a quaint hill station perched on the slopes of Western Ghats . It is both charming and old fashioned, with colonial style buildings existing with modern structures. Stop at Cheeyapara water falls fall enroute to Munnar. Munnar is indeed a photographer’s delight. Overnight stay at Hotel in Munnar.
Day 2 : MUNNAR LOCAL SIGHT SEEING
After breakfast, proceed on a full day tour of Munnar attractions. The Horticultural Garden, Photo point, Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Dam are all located on the route to Top Station. Kundala Dam is known for the Arch type architecture. Echo point on the lower slopes of the region is a picturesque spot where you would find your voice echoing and thus derives the name Echo Point. All the above places are well worth a visit. With tourist having a flair for culture - they can spend their time in the evening at the Punarjani Traditional village (Optional activity), where they get to see a piece of Kerala culture in the form of Kathakali Dance and Kalari pattu - a form of ancient martial arts, a visual treat to the eyes. Day 3 : MUNNAR/Thekkady
After breakfast, set out for Thekkady (about a three-hour drive from Munnar), where you can explore wonderful wildlife. Check out of your hotel or resort and prepare to spend the rest of the day exploring nature. Take a ride on Periyar Lake in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary to watch elephants, wild boars and beautiful birds. Go on a plantation tour, take a ride on an elephant or join a cultural show if you like. Day 4 : Thekkady / Alleppey

Day 6 : MARARIKULAM / COCHIN (60 Kms/1 Hr)
Morning after breakfast checkout and drive to Cochin Airport to board the flight for onward destination. TourEnds.

This tour can be booked by minimum of 2 persons up to 10 persons. We do not recommend add others to this tour. It will be you and your family or friends traveling in this tour by private vehicles only.

In cities where the categories are not available the lower category will be provided and rates have been taken in our costings for the lower categories.
You can choose from some of our most popular readymade programs or we can tailor a program just to suit your specific requirements. Alternatively, when you tailor your own tour, you can begin and end your journey from any City you choose within India.
This is a very exclusive way of discovering India. You have the choice of touring in a Sedan Car for up to 2 to 3 pax or in a Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) for 3-5 Pax. Our Experienced Chauffeurs will take care of all your needs for the duration of the tour. All Sightseeing Tours are on a Private Basis.
We can provide you an English Speaking Guide or any other language that you may require for all your Guided Tours at additional cost upon request.
Your Chauffeurs will offer you the greatest degree of flexibility, as he will be able to accommodate your needs and changes to your schedule even on short notice.
