OVERVIEW

Gujarat, India's westernmost state, has varied terrain and numerous sacred sites. In its urban center of Ahmedabad is the Calico Museum of Textiles, displaying antique and modern Indian fabrics. Spiritual leader Mahatma Gandhi's base from 1917–1930 was Sabarmati Ashram, where his living quarters remain on view. The Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), built in the 15th century, has a huge courtyard and a columned design.

ITINERARY

Day 1 : Dwarka

Bangalore - Ahmedabad - Dwarka

Meet on arrival at Bangalore Airport to board the flight to Ahmedabad.Arrive at Ahmedabad Airport and drive to Dwarka, en-route visit Jamnagar Bala Hanuman Temple - Bala Hanuman Temple is a pilgrim place venerated by the devotees of Lord Ram. It is a world famous temple, known for the continuous chanting of Jai Ram, Shri Ram. The chanting is going on since 1964 and has found a place for it in the Guinness Book of World Records. People chant the name of the Lord in shifts, 24 hours a day.  Later Proceed to Dwarka, visit Lords Dwarkadhish Temple. Attend evening Aarti Darshan at Dwarkadhish. Overnight.

Day 2 : Dwarka

Dwarka Sightseeing

Early morning Aarti at Dwarkadhish temple, have breakfast & thereafter visit Bet Dwarka, Nageshwar Jyotirling & Rukmani Temple. Overnight.

 Bet Dwarka – Also known as Bet Shankhoddar, Bet Dwarka is only 5 kms from Okha Junction in sea and Okha is 30 kms from Dwarka. It is said to be the place where Lord Krishna lived with his family when the ruled at Dwarka. It is also the place where Vishnu slew the demon Shankhasura. Visitors make it a point to visit the Krishna temple at this site which holds much of interest to be seen and experienced. 

 Nageswar Mahadev – The Puranas mention 12 Jyotirlingas or columns of light representing Lord Shiva, who manifested himself in that form in different parts of India. This Shiva shrine nearDwarka is one of these and is there- fore accorded great respect. 

 Rukmani Temple – Temple of Lord Krihsna’s wife. O/n stay at Dwarka.

Day 3 : Somnath

Dwarka /Porbandar / Somnath

Morning after breakfast drive to Porbandar, visit Kirti temple, Sudam known as house & born place of Mahatma Gandhi. In back side house of Kasturba wife of Gandhi. Also visit of Gandhi museum, study room of Mahatma Gandhi in the Kirti temple.Later visit of Sudama temple & continue proceed to Somnath, evening aarti Darshan at Somnath Temple - A lord Shiva temple known as Jyotirling built by Moon God. Enjoy lighting and sounding Show Overnight stay at Somnath.

Day 4 : Sasan Gir

Somnath / Sasangir

Morning after breakfast drive to Sasangir, Gir National Park has been the only habitat of the Asiatic lion. During the British Raj, lions were hunted mercilessly by the British officers assisted by the obliging Maharajas and Nawabs. Every Maharaja was proud of the number of lions or tigers he killed during his lifetime. In the year 1899 the famine decreased the lion population so badly that Lord Curzon cancelled his shoot in Gir where he had been invited by the Nawab for a ‘Shikaar’. The Lord Curzon also advised the ruler to protect the remaining lions. By the time India achieved independence, the number of lions gets increased, but they were once again hunted by the Maharajas. The Government of India banned the hunting of lion in the mid-1960 and now this park is open only for the photo safaris. The Gir National Park later became a major tourist attraction in India. About 300 lions are found in this park. O/n stay at Sasangir.

Day 5 : Ahmedabad

Sasangir – Junagadh – Virpur – Gondal – Ahmedabad

Morning after breakfast drive to Junagadh, visit UPERKOT FORT is an ancient fort built by Chandr Gupta. The fort as been rebuilt & extended many times. Later visit ofAshokan Edicts,Mahabat Maqbara. The Ashoka’s Rock edict is on way of Girnar hill temple. The rock engraved with the Buddhist edicts of Ashoka. The edicts impart moral instruction on dharma, harmony, tolerance and peace.

Gondal, Navlakha palace, it is a festival of stone carvings with balconies. It gift for Maharaja Bhagwat Sinh ji on his silver jubilee as ruler of Gondal. Visit of vintage car collection, have a collection of several vintage and classical cars including a1910 new engine with so many imposing American cars of the 1940s. Later visit of Swaminarayan Temple, Bhuvneshwary Ayurvedic medicine factory, which makes the herbal medicines according to ancient principal. Afterwards drive to Ahmedabad. Overnight.

Day 6 : Bangalore

Departure

to Lord Swaminarayan. It was constructed on the directions of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the spiritual leader of BAPS Sanstha., Sidi Sayed mosque, built in 1573, is one of the most famous mosques of Ahmedabad. The mosque is entirely arcuated. The mosque has ten screen windows (jails) on the side and rear arches The Swetambara Temple  Hatheesing temple was built outside delhi gate in 1850 by a rich jain merchant Sheth Hatheesing. This is the best known of Ahmedabad’s many ornate jain temples. It is dedicated to Dharamnath, the fifteenth Tirthankar whose status stand in the main sanctuary Built by pure marble profusely decirated with rich carving, Gandhi Ashram -  This ashram was Gandhi’s headquarters during the long struggle for Indian independence. His ashram was founded in 1915 and still makes handicrafts, handmade paper and spinning wheels. Later drive to Adalaj, visit step well is an architectural wonder built by Queen Rudabai and is certainly one of the finest monuments of Gujarat. Later drop to Airport to board the flight to Bangalore.  Tour Ends.

AMENDMENTS / CANCELLATIONS 

If the clients is willing to amend or cancel his / her booking because of whatsoever reasons including death, accident, illness, or any other personal reason including non- payment of the balance payment, the company is liable to recover cancellation charges from the client:

When a Cancellation is made Cancellation Charges per person
On or before 30 days prior to the departure of the Tour Initial deposit amount or 30% whichever is higher
29 -15 Days prior to the departure of the Tour 50% of the Total Tour Cost
14 days or less prior to date of departure or a “No Show” on the tour 100% of the Total Tour Cost

Any amendment in the original booking has to be given to us in writing. All Changes will be processed only after the receipt of the same by the company. However, if any of the amendment requests results in cancellation of one or more services, then the company is liable to recover cancellation charges as indicated in the above mentioned table.

The above-mentioned cancellation charges are applicable only against our Tours and optional tours published by Skyway. If the client has booked any other services such as air/train tickets or any third party product, then the company is liable to recover cancellation charges as per cancellation terms of respective airline/ railways / hotel or the cancellation terms of respective third party. Skyway is also liable to recover its service charges against booking and cancelling such services for the clients.
