OVERVIEW

Himachal Pradesh is a northern Indian state in the Himalayas. It's home to scenic mountain towns and resorts such as Dalhousie. Host to the Dalai Lama, Himachal Pradesh has a strong Tibetan presence. This is reflected in its Buddhist temples and monasteries, as well as its vibrant Tibetan New Year celebrations. The region is also well known for its trekking, climbing and skiing areas. State capital Shimla recalls the British Raj in the quaint colonial buildings lining the Mall, a ridgetop pedestrian shopping street. On a nearby hill is Jakhu Temple, a colorful Hindu complex home to rhesus macaques and a 108-ft., orange Lord Hanuman (monkey god) statue towering above the trees. Notable smaller towns include Manikaran, famed for hot springs; Sarahan, site of carved-wood temple Shri Bhima Kali Ji; and Kullu, set amid green hills and apple orchards. Great Himalayan National Park is home to snow leopards, snow-covered peaks, alpine meadows, trails, and campsites. Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It's also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting, and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass. Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts.

• Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to an increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.

AMENDMENTS / CANCELLATIONS 

If the clients is willing to amend or cancel his / her booking because of whatsoever reasons including death, accident, illness, or any other personal reason including non- payment of the balance payment, the company is liable to recover cancellation charges from the client:

Any amendment in the original booking has to be given to us in writing. All Changes will be processed only after the receipt of the same by the company. However, if any of the amendment requests results in cancellation of one or more services, then the company is liable to recover cancellation charges as indicated in the above mentioned table.

The above-mentioned cancellation charges are applicable only against our Tours and optional tours published by Skyway. If the client has booked any other services such as air/train tickets or any third party product, then the company is liable to recover cancellation charges as per cancellation terms of respective airline/ railways / hotel or the cancellation terms of respective third party. Skyway is also liable to recover its service charges against booking and cancelling such services for the clients.
