The sacred shrines were founded in the 8th century by the revered saint Sri Adi Shankaracharya, with the noble intention of fostering spiritual and religious harmony among all. Each of these Dham sites boasts its own storied past. Since their inception, millions of devout pilgrims have undertaken and continue to undertake the blessed and sacred Yatra, offering reverence to these temples annually. This pilgrimage assures transformative experiences and instills a profound sense of belongingness within oneself.

Day 1 : AyodhyaHaridwar Railway Station / Dehradun Airport – Barkot (Drive, 185 Km / Approx. 06 – 07 Hr)

In the morning, pick up from Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport and drive to Barkot. En-route visit Lakhamandal, which is on the way to Barkot, situated at 5 kms off road. Lakhamandal is believed to be a place where Pandav used to stay in the period of Agyatwaas.  After visiting this mesmerizing sight, drive further to Barkot. Upon arrival in Barkot, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay is at hotel in Barkot.

Day 2 : Barkot – Yamunotri (40 Km Drive | 07 Km Trek) / Yamunotri –Barkot (07 Km Trek | 38 Km Drive)

Today, bit early in the morning drive to Janki Chatti. From here start trek to Yamunotri. Either by walk or by mule or by palanquin on own expense. On arrival at Yamunotri, visit the holy shrine of Goddess Yamuna. After visiting the temple, trek down back to Jankichatti, pick up and return to your hotel in Barkort. Overnight is at the hotel in Barkot.

Day 3 : Barkot – Uttarkashi (90 Km Drive / Approx. 03-04 Hr)

Today morning after breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. En-route, stop at Radi Top, where one side is the Yamuna Valley whereas on the other side starts the Ganga Valley.  Also, visit the Shiv Gufa at Mahargaon. Shiv Gufa is a naturally formed cave at Mehargaon on the Yamunotri – Uttarkashi Road. In the cave, one can see a naturally formed Shivling – water naturally falls on top of it continuously.  After visiting the cave continue your drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. In the evening visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple at Uttarkashi town. Overnight is at the hotel in Uttarkashi.

Day 4 : Uttarkashi – Gangotri (100 Km Drive / Approx. 04 Hr) / Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 Km Drive / Approx. 04 Hr)

Today after early breakfast, drive to Gangotri. En route, you may take a holy dip in the hot water Gangnani kund. Later drive further to Gangotri. On arrival at Gangotri, visit the most important temple of Goddess Ganga – Gangotri Dham.  After visiting Gangotri temple return to Uttarakashi. On the way enjoy picturesque views of  Harsil Village, Bhagirathi River and the most magnificent view of Himalayas.  Continue your drive to Uttarkashi. Overnight is at hotel in Uttarkashi.

Day 5 : Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (196 Km Drive / Approx. 07 Hr)

Today morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi. Upon arrival in Guptkashi, check in at your hotel. Later, in the evening, visit Vishwanath Temple of Guptkashi. Overnight stay is at hotel in Guptkashi.

Day 6 : Guptkashi – Kedarnath (35 Km Drive / Approx. 1.5 Hr | 18 Km Trek)

Today morning after early breakfast, drive to Sonprayag. Upon arrival in Sonprayag, take a local jeep (on direct payment) to Gaurikund. (Outside Vehicles are not allowed beyond Sonprayag). On reaching Gaurikund, start your trek for Kedarnath. The trek passes through beautiful Himalayan landscapes, including forests, waterfalls, and rivers. Upon arrival at Kedarnath, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay is at Guesthouse/Dharamshala in Kedarnath.

Day 7 : Kedarnath – Guptkashi (18 Km Trek | 35 Km Drive / Approx. 1.5 Hr)

Today early morning proceeds for Kedarnath Temple Darshan. Later post breakfast, check out from your Guesthouse/Dharamshala, and trek down to Gaurikund. At Gaurikund, take a local jeep (on direct payment) back up to Sonprayag. Upon arrival at Sonprayag, you will be transferred to your hotel in Guptkashi. Overnight stay is at Hotel in Guptkashi.

Day 8 : Guptkashi – Badrinath Via Chopta (165 Km Drive / Approx. 06 Hr)

Today morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath, en-route visit Chopta (also known as mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand). Chopta is located at an elevation of 2680 M, amidst thick forest of Pine, Deodar and Rhododendron. It is easily accessible and provides the starting point to Tungnath and Chandrashila. Later, continue your drive to Badrinath and on arrival, check-in at the hotel. 

In the evening proceed to visit Mana Village which is the last village at Indo –china border. Also visit Bhimpul, Saraswati river, Vyas gufa, Ganesg Gufa and other important sites. Overnight is at hotel in Badrinath.

Day 9 : Badrinath – Rudraprayag (160 Km Drive / Approx. 06 Hrs)

Today morning after Badrinath Temple Darshan, drive to Rudraprayag, En-route visit Narsingh Temple in Joshimath. Later after the visit, continue your drive further to Rudraprayag and on arrival, check in at the hotel. Later, in the evening, if time permits, visit Koteshwar Mahadev Temple and Rudraprayag Sangam. Overnight is at the hotel in Rudraprayag.

Day 10 : Rudraprayag – Dehradun Airport/Haridwar Railway Station (160 Km Drive / 05 Hr)

Today morning after breakfast drive from Rudraprayag to Rishikesh. Depending on your departure flight/train, enroute visit Dhari Devi temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Devi Kali Mata.  Also visit Devprayag, the place where the holy rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda meet, making it a unique pilgrimage. From here onward two rivers merge into one and take the name 'Ganga'.

On reaching Rishikesh, drive further and drop either to Dehradun Airport or Haridwar Railway Station for your return journey.



  • 09 Nights’ accommodation on Twin Sharing Basis except extra person will be on extra bed/mattress at above mentioned Hotels or similar. Kedarnath accommodation is on a sharing basis among own group members.

Accommodation at Kedarnath will be on sharing basis only among own group members(twin bed/triple bed/quad/ five etc) due to limited accommodation inventory there. We will try to accommodate you in the best possible way. Hotels in Kedarnath are more like Dharamshalas with basic facilities.

  • For processing the bookings, we would require 25% payment in advance a, 75% on confirmations and balance 35 days before the arrival date.
  • Any cancellation after processing the reservation will be subject to cancellation charges as per the company policy. 

Cancellation Policy 

  1. 45 to 30 days prior to commencement of tour, cancellation fee,10 percent.
  2. 29 to 16 days prior to commencement of tour, cancellation fee, 50 percent.
  3. No refund for cancellation with less than 15 days.

  • The Chardham Yatra is a pilgrimage tour where a long & hectic journey goes through remote locations of Himalayan region in Uttarakhand. We would request you to kindly not expect luxury arrangements due to lack of resources in the region and also make yourself physically and mentally prepared to undertake the tour. However, we provide best services and a comfortable trip putting our best efforts in the given conditions.
  • The Chardham Yatra begins from the end of May to Mid-November each year. We suggest you to avoid July and August months as during this period this region witnesses heavy rainfall leads to landslides and other natural adversities.
  • We highly recommend to undertake the Chardham Yatra during the month of September – October due to following reasons:
    • Weather during this period is very pleasant so the tour becomes comfortable.
    • Due to limited tourists, there is hardly any traffic congestion anywhere in the entire trip so the journey becomes less tiring.
    • There are almost no queues to visit temple during this period so you get hassle free visit to temple for which you travel from so far away place.
    • Sure chance of getting envisaged hotels avoiding alternate hotels which may get downgraded due to non-availability situation in peak season.
    • Probality Helicopter tickets availability is higher as compare to May and June.
    • During this period you can also add other places in India in your tour plan as weather remains pleasant throughout.
  • Due to altitude variation you need to carry both summer and winter clothes. (Provided in check list). Women are advised to avoid Sarees and opt for Salwar Kameez or trousers.
  • Do consult with your doctor and make sure you do not have any health issues related to high altitudes. If you have ailment like acrophobia, high blood pressure, asthma or other heart problems, please do refrain from undertaking this journey. 
  • As Chardham Yatra is a seasonal business for hotels, therefore in these locations hotels operate with limited power backup. Therefore, there might be some power interruptions.
  • Due to mountain terrain the mobile networks in few places are not good, so keep your family & friends informed if sometimes there is any issue of connectivity.
  • Night drive in Hilly area is not safe so not recommended. Also keeping in mind the tourist safety, Uttarakhand police put barriers at several places on hilly routes, so that night drivers can be avoided on hilly areas. (Only emergency service vehicles are allowed for night driver in Hilly region). 
  • Biometric/Online registration for Chardham Yatra is mandatory for which guest need to register personally to do the formalities, so please inform the guest in advance regarding the same.    
  • ATMs (Automated teller machines) are available in many places in during your travel but money exchange facility is available in Haridwar, Rishikesh and Dehradun only. 
  • VIP Darshan / Special Puja arrangements are subject to availability on the spot. 
  • Vehicle will be permitted to use for sightseeing points on the route and inside the city limits or which is mentioned in itinerary. For additional sightseeing, off route sightseeing, sightseeing not inside the city limits or substitute sightseeing kindly contact company. 
  • Tour destination / route cannot change without prior notice (Amended route and tour Destination rates may be change) 
  • Enroute sightseeing mentioned in the itinerary is completely subject to time availability.
