ITINERARY

Day 1 : Arrival Dehradun

Meet our representative at Dehradun Airport or Railway Station, followed up a comfortable transfer to the hotel.  In the evening, at 20:30 hrs., our team will conduct a mandatory briefing session covering all essential details of the Char Dham Yatra. This orientation ensures every pilgrim is well-prepared for the days ahead.

Special Arrangements:

  • Each guest will receive a duffle bag to pack essential items. Please note: luggage allowance is limited to 5 kg per person.
  • As part of tour preparations, our staff will record each pilgrim’s body weight during the briefing. Kindly ensure your presence.

After the session, enjoy a wholesome dinner and an overnight stay in Dehradun, resting in comfort before your spiritual adventure begins.

Day 2 : Yamunotri

Departure from Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun Guests will check out from the hotel at the designated time. Our representative will escort them to the Sahastradhara Helipad, where ground personnel will extend a warm welcome and assist with pre?flight formalities. A short briefing will be provided before boarding the helicopter.

Arrival at Kharsali Helipad, Yamunotri Upon landing, guests will be received by our staff and guided to the waiting lounge. From here, they will proceed towards Yamunotri Temple by palki or pony. The trek from the helipad to the temple is approximately 6 km, with a round trip by palki typically taking around 5 hours.

Darshan & Sightseeing

  • Visit Hot Spring near Yamunotri Temple
  • Visit Yamuna Mata Temple
  • Visit Shani Temple

After darshan and sightseeing, guests will return to the helipad and proceed to their accommodation. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay at Kharsali.

Important Notes

  • Accommodation: Kharsali village is the least developed destination among the Char Dham circuit. Hotel facilities will be basic.
  • Toll Tax: A fee of ?600 per pilgrim is levied by the Gram Panchayat and must be paid directly by guests.
  • Schedule: This is a tentative itinerary provided for guidance. Timings are provisional and subject to change based on weather conditions and weight adjustments. Final timings will be communicated one day prior to ensure smooth coordination.
Day 3 : Gangotri

Departure: Kharsali Helipad, Yamunotri

Arrival: Harsil Helipad, Gangotri

After checking out from the hotel at the designated time, guests will board the helicopter from Kharsali Helipad and arrive at Harsil Helipad within the estimated flight duration.

Nestled in one of Uttarakhand’s most picturesque valleys, Harsil is fondly referred to as Mini Switzerland for its breathtaking natural beauty. From the helipad, Gangotri Temple is approximately 25 km away, with a scenic drive of about 50 minutes by car.

Upon landing, guests are advised to proceed directly to the temple. Our ground staff will assist with darshan at Gangotri Temple, ensuring a smooth and spiritually enriching experience. Depending on the crowd, darshan will be arranged either before or after lunch.

Sightseeing Highlights at Harsil:

  • Bagodi Village – a charming hamlet showcasing local culture
  • Ancient Laxmi Narayan Temple – a revered site with historical significance

After returning from the temple, guests can enjoy lunch at the resort followed by relaxation. In the evening, unwind by the campfire or take a leisurely walk to the nearby village, where authentic woolen items—such as sweaters, shawls, and mufflers—handcrafted by local tribal women are available for purchase.This leg of the journey offers not only spiritual depth but also cultural charm, making Gangotri a cherished highlight of the Char Dham Yatra.
 

Day 4 : Kedarnath

Departure: Harsil Helipad

Arrival: Kedarnath Helipad

Guests will check out from their hotel at the designated time and proceed to Harsil Helipad. From here, they will fly onward to Guptkashi continuing their Char Dham journey.

At Guptkashi guests will board a helicopter shuttle to Kedarnath Dham. The shuttle lands at the Kedarnath Helipad, located approximately 500 meters from the temple. Our ground staff will assist with VIP darshan arrangements, ensuring a smooth and spiritually fulfilling experience.

  • Darshan Duration: Approximately 2 hours
  • Shuttle Flight Duration: Around 08 minutes each way

After darshan, guests will return to Guptkashi by helicopter and then be transferred by road to their hotel. The overnight stay will be arranged either at Guptkashi or Kedarnath, depending on the itinerary and prevailing weather conditions.

Important Notes

  • Night Halt at Kedarnath: Accommodation will be arranged on a triple or quad sharing basis, payable directly by guests.

Accommodation Quality: Facilities at Kedarnath Dham are modest but clean and functional. Given the remote location, guests are encouraged to maintain realistic expectations regarding comfort and amenities.
 

Day 5 : Badrinath

Departure: Kedarnath / Guptkashi Helipad

Arrival: Badrinath Helipad

After breakfast, guests will check out from their hotel in Guptkashi and proceed to the Guptkashi helipad. From here, they will board a helicopter bound for Badrinath Dham.

Upon arrival at the Badrinath Helipad, guests will check in to their hotel, conveniently located near the temple. Our ground staff will assist with darshan at the sacred Badrinath Temple, ensuring a smooth and spiritually fulfilling experience.

Evening Excursion: A visit to the nearby Mana Village is highly recommended. Known as the first Indian village before the international border with China, Mana offers a rare glimpse into:

  • Local Himalayan culture and traditions
  • Mythological landmarks such as Vyas Gufa, Bheem pul and Saraswati River
  • Scenic beauty of the surrounding mountains

Day 6 : Return to Dehradun

Departure: Badrinath Helipad

Early in the morning, guests may choose to participate in the Special Abhishek Puja at Badrinath Temple (optional and at personal cost). This sacred ritual begins promptly at 5:30 AM and lasts for approximately 2 hours, offering devotees a rare opportunity to sit inside the temple and witness the Shringar Darshan of the deity from close quarters.

After the puja, guests will return to their hotel for breakfast before boarding the helicopter for the flight back to Dehradun. Upon arrival at the Sahastradhara Helipad, transfers will be arranged to the airport or railway station for onward journeys.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Fixed Flight Timings

This helicopter tour follows fixed daily departure schedules for each destination. Passengers must strictly adhere to the designated Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) each day. Failure to comply will result in the passenger being marked as a NO-SHOW. The final and accurate flight timings will be shared one day prior to the Yatra

Passenger's Weight

-Passengers must provide their accurate body weight at the time of booking. If a discrepancy is found during travel that causes the total aircraft weight to exceed the limit of 450 kg, the affected passenger(s) will be de-boarded and their Heli-tour will be cancelled—no refunds will be provided in such cases.

-Mandatory weighing will be conducted prior to boarding. If the actual weight exceeds the declared weight at the time of booking, boarding will be denied. Additionally, we reserve the right to reshuffle passengers to ensure optimal weight distribution for safe flying conditions in the hills.

Overweight Charges: Per Seat Basis Only

Excess weight charges for the Char Dham helicopter tour are fixed at ?2,500 per kilogram, applicable to passengers whose body weight exceeds 75 kg. In case of any discrepancy in the declared weight, charges based on the excess weight will apply. The applicable amount will be collected either at the hotel prior to the day of departure or at the helipad before flight boarding.

Baggage Allowance

Only 5 Kg baggage per passenger will be permitted. Passengers are advised not to carry big suitcases as there is very small baggage space inside helicopter.

Passengers bringing excess baggage might not be allowed to take the same in the chopper by pilot. To address this, our staff provides duffle bags to all passengers during briefing. The total baggage allowance is determined based on the group’s combined body weight. If the total exceeds the permissible limit of 450 kg, excess luggage will be transported by road, and the additional cost will be shared among all passengers in that helicopter.

Infant

Children above the age of 2 years will be considered full ticket. Infants below 02 Yrs. /12 Kg are carried free of charge. In case of verification of age, ID proof (Birth certificate) of the child shall be checked.

If an infant is traveling on board, the infant's weight will be deducted from the maximum permissible weight allocated to the respective group.

VIP Darshan Guidelines

Issuance: VIP Darshan slips are issued exclusively by the respective temple committees at Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath.

Access: VIP Darshan provides priority entry into the temple premises only. All arrangements are strictly governed by the guidelines and SOPs prescribed by the temple committees.

Limitations: As Darshan access is fully managed by temple authorities, it may be restructured, delayed, or temporarily suspended during VVIP movements or periods of heavy pilgrimage rush, in the interest of security and crowd management.

Passenger & Flight Management

Weight Considerations: In view of the helicopters’ weight-carrying capacity, Skyway reserves the right to shuffle passengers between helicopters to ensure safe flying in the hills.

Seating Arrangements: Passengers traveling together may not always be accommodated on the same helicopter flight.

Helicopter Schedule

The helicopter schedule outlined in the itinerary is fixed. However, please note that flying in hilly regions is subject to various factors such as weather conditions and operational requirements. At times, adjustments to the schedule may be necessary due to technical or safety considerations.

Passenger Guidelines

Thoughtful Packing: Passengers are advised to pack carefully to avoid inconvenience during the journey.

Travel Details: Arrival and departure information must be provided at the time of booking to ensure smooth tour operations.

Flight Timing: Passengers should book arrival flights to Dehradun scheduled around 03:00 pm or earlier.

Kedarnath Shuttle: Travel to Kedarnath ji will be facilitated via shuttle flights. Please note that passengers traveling together may not always be accommodated on the same flight.

Taxes & Levies: Any unforeseen increase in taxes, levies, or fuel charges imposed by the State Government, temple authorities, or the aviation industry shall be borne by the passengers.

YatraRegistration: If online yatra registration becomes mandatory, passengers must complete it prior to travel. For bookings made through travel agencies, the agency will be responsible for completing the registration on behalf of passengers.

Clothing & Footwear: Comfortable attire such as tracksuits for male and salwar suit for female is recommended. Sports or trekking shoes should be carried for ease during the tour.

On-Ground Assistance:We maintains its own crew at all Dhams, who will be available to assist passengers throughout the journey.

Airport Transfer Policy

Airport transfers will be provided on the day of arrival or, at the latest, one day prior to arrival.

The same arrangement applies for drop-off at Dehradun Airport.

Only one transfer per side will be provided.

Transfers may be arranged either from the airport to the hotel or between hotels.

Important Advisory – Beware of Online Imposters

Passengers are strongly advised to remain vigilant against online fraudsters and cyber-criminals falsely claiming to represent Skyway International Travels Pvt Ltd and offering fake helicopter packages using forged identification.

All bookings and payments must be made exclusively through verified and official communication channels and bank accounts.

Bad Weather & Force Majeure Disclaimer

Helicopter operations in hilly terrain are highly susceptible to unpredictable factors such as adverse weather conditions and various Force Majeure events. These may include delayed Air Traffic Control clearances or permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying restrictions issued by the Indian Air Force (NOTAM), unexpected technical issues in the aircraft, illness of the flying crew, and late reporting of passengers at helipads, among other unforeseen circumstances. Passengers are advised to remain prepared for potential delays and inconveniences caused by these uncontrollable factors.

We strongly recommend that guests plan for an additional buffer day in Dehradun beyond the standard 05N/06D tour duration. This precautionary measure ensures flexibility in case of severe weather conditions or other disruptions that may lead to a tour extension.

Other Terms and Guidelines for Char Dham Helicopter Booking 2026

  • AADHAR Card copies are to be shared by all Indian passengers, & passport in case of foreign nationals.
  • Any donations, tips, pitthu, palki/pony and porter charges shall be borne by the passengers.
  • Our own crew at all the Dham's. For any guidance or assistance, Passengers are free to reach out to them.
  • Network connectivity at Badrinath is very poor. BSNL & Jio are the main telecom services that work in these regions mostly, but not always. However, our staff shall be with the passengers for assistance at all times.
  • Passengers are advised to carry a small oxygen bottle with them as a precaution. It is available locally at all medical shops
  • Although day temperatures at these locations are normal it becomes cold in the night and so passengers must carry woolen clothes with them.
  • All passengers are advised to carry their own medication.
  • We would like to inform our pilgrims that we do not provide insurance coverage for accidents, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other unforeseen circumstances. Therefore, we strongly recommend that pilgrims make their own arrangements for insurance coverage. Please note that all baggage and personal belongings are solely the responsibility of the client at all times

Medical Emergencies

Company shall not be liable for any medical emergency on the ground to the party, thus advised guests to get the fitness certificate from doctor to travel to the high-altitude sector.

The Company reserves the right to refuse to carry any person whom it considers unfit for travel or what in the opinion of the company may constitute risk to the helicopter or to the persons on board. No refund shall be done to such passenger(s).

Rescheduling Of Booking

Rescheduling of booking to a next date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 20% of the cost. This will be permitted only if applied 15 days before journey date. In case the rescheduling is requested with less than 15 days to the journey then booking will be treated as cancelled and a fresh booking will be given subject to availability.

 Payment Terms

  • Package Confirmation & Booking, please deposit the 50% amount of the Tour cost to process the booking and the balance amount is to be paid 15 days before from your departure dates.
  • Passengers are only allowed to board or initiate the tour after completing the full and final payment for the tour.
  • Payments via credit/debit card machine will incur 3% extra charge.
  • Payment via American Express / Foreign cards will incur 4.5% extra charge

Cancellation Policies
We acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances may necessitate a change in travel plans. Should you need to cancel a confirmed booking, the following charges will apply:

  • Administrative Fee: Upon confirmation of the booking, if the guest subsequently chooses to cancel, a deduction of 5% on the total package cost will be applicable, irrespective of the reason for cancellation.
  • Cancellation Charges Based on Notice Period:
    • Up to 30 days prior to departure: 30% of the package amount
    • Up to 20 days prior to departure: 50% of the package amount
    • Within 14 days of departure: No refund will be provided
    • No Show: No refund will be provided
  • Credit Note: A credit note will be issued for any cancellation of a confirmed booking, subject to the above terms.

Force Majeure & Bad Weather Refunds:

In the event of adverse weather on any of the scheduled five days, we will make every effort to complete the Darshan on the following day. However, if we are completely unable to visit any Dham due to persistent weather conditions, a refund of approximately INR 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand Rupees) per seat will be provided, covering only the flying time cost for each affected Dham.

If flying from Dehradun is not possible due to weather conditions or any other reason, a 5% service charge along with the cost of utilized services—such as hotel accommodation and transportation—will be applicable.

Bad Weather & Force Majeure Policies:

In the event of flight cancellations or delays due to adverse weather conditions, technical issues, or other force majeure circumstances beyond the control of the company, Skyway International Travels Pvt Ltd shall not be held liable for the disrupted flights. Refunds will be processed in accordance with our established refund policy. Please note that no compensation or reimbursement will be provided for accommodation, transportation, meals, or any additional travel expenses incurred by the guests due to flight cancellations.

If departure from Dehradun is not possible for any of the above-mentioned reasons, the tour will be considered cancelled, and refunds will be issued as per company policy. Guests may choose to reschedule their tour for the next available date, and a fresh booking can be initiated accordingly. Our team will share the available options to assist with rebooking.

Any unused or remaining amount from the original booking may be applied toward the rescheduled tour. Any additional costs incurred will be borne by the guests.

Should guests wish to extend their package itinerary, such extensions will be subject to operational feasibility and will be charged separately.

In the event that adverse weather conditions prevent flights from Badrinath to Dehradun, guests will be responsible for arranging and covering the cost of their own hotel accommodation. If guests choose to travel back to Dehradun by road instead of waiting for the next day’s flight, all road travel expenses will likewise be borne by them. Under these circumstances, the company will not issue any refund.

For guests stranded at any Dham, if a group chooses to curtail their journey and return before the scheduled date, SKYWAY will assist in arranging road transport. However, the cost of this service shall be borne by the guests on a direct payment basis. No refunds will be issued for mid-tour cancellations initiated by the guests.

Disputes

Any disputes related to the legality, interpretation, application, or performance of the service or its terms and conditions shall be subject to the laws of Delhi Jurisdiction.

Bookings will be taken, considering there is an acceptance of the above –mentioned terms & conditions by the party.

  • Contributions for these sacred rituals are made directly to the Badrinath Ji Mandir Samiti.
  • Guests wishing to attend these ceremonies will incur vehicle charges of approximately  1,000 per vehicle, payable directly.

Rudra Abhishek Puja - Kedarnath Ji

Cost: Rs.7,500 for up to 5 people Payment must be made in cash to our Tour Manager / representative at Dehradun for advance booking and arrangements.

Important Details:

  • Rudra Abhishek Puja requires an overnight stay at Kedarnath Top, subject to room availability.
  • Accommodation at Kedarnath Top is provided on a triple/quad sharing basis.
