OVERVIEW
According to the Hindus Mythology, Lord Shiva spends his most of the time on the top of the holy Mount Kailash, practicing Yogic austerities, joy and love with his divine consort Parbati (Mother of Mythology). The Lake Mansarovar and the holy Mount Kailash are the SOUL of all AUM followers in the world. "Conventional wisdom says a single circuit of Mt. Kailash wipes out the sins of a lifetime, 108 Parikramas guarantees enlightenment. ITINERARY
Upon arrival in Kathmandu. You will be met by our representative, at Tribhuvan International airport, and transferred to Hotel. Afternoon, we will collect Passport, and collect other necessary documents to process for Tibet visa.

Early morning, you will depart from Kathmandu to TIMURE (the border town). Timure, a small settlement, situated in Nepal-China border (KyirongGadhi). The distance from Kathmandu to Timure is about 159 km and it takes about 7 hours to reach Timure from Kathmandu. Overnight stay in guesthouse in Timure Village.

Morning after breakfast in Timure, you will walk to the friendship bridge (the place known as “KyirongGadhi”- Gadhi means “fortress”). The distance from Timure to KyirongGadhi (Friendship bridge) is about one kilometer. After completing immigration formalities both in Nepal and China side, you will drive to Kyirong town. The distance from friendship bridge to Kyirong town is about 26 km and drive takes about an hour to reach there. Stay overnight in Kyirong town.

Early morning after breakfast, we will depart for Saga. Saga is a small town situated at an elevation of 4500 m. It is laid at the Bank of mighty river Bramhaputra that origins in Kailash area. From Kailash the river flows to Lhasa then it drops down to the plain of Asam crossing vast area of Arunchal Pradesh. Today, we stay overnight in Saga.

Early morning, you will depart from Saga to lake Manasarovar. On the way, we will make a brief halt in Mayum-la check post for checking & other ravel documents. After crossing the check post, we will stop for a picnic lunch. We, then continue drive to lake Manasarovar. On the way, we will cross over a high pass Mayum-La which is 5220 m. Evening reach lake Mansarovar.

We will pray, take a holy bath, and carry out other religious rites in the morning. After lunch at Lake Manasarovar, we will depart for Darchen in the afternoon. Darchen is 37 kilometres away, and a 45-minute drive will get us there.

Morning after breakfast, we will drive to Tarboche (Yam Dwar) from Darchen. The drive takes about 20 minutes to reach there. You can see the splendid views of south & west faces of mount Kailash and vicinity.
Tarboche is the gathering-point of horse/s, yak/s and local porter/s. If you have booked horse OR local porter, this is the point where they will meet you and accompany you for your onward journey.
From Tarboche, you will trek to Deraphuk. Deraphuk stands at an elevation of 5080 m./ 16,663 fts. From here the north face of Kailash is just a few hundred meters away. This is the only place to have a close view of north face. The Chinese government has restricted to use vehicle to go to Deraphuk, so you have two choices, you can trek to Deraphuk on foot or you can hire a horse. If you want to take a horse, you have to book & pay it one day early in Darchen with your Tibetan guide. Horse won’t be available on last moment.
The distance from Yama Dwar to Deraphuk is about 13 km and it may take about 6 to 7 hours to cover the distance. The entire trail up to Deraphuk is reasonably flat & easy with gentle ascend. But, trekking in high altitude is difficult and full of exhaustion. You will find the last legs of the journey tough with rapid ascend. But, it is only for half an hour.
Those, who are participating for trekking part, will move ahead to Deraphuk from Yama Dwar. The rest of the members who are not going to Deraphuk will return to Darchen on Bus. People who are stayibg in Darchen have to wait in Darchen until the group members arrive from trekking (Parikrama).

Today is the toughest & longest journey of this trip. We have to trek about 19 km to reach Zutulphuk. The trail up to Dolma-La is an ascent. From Deraphuk Dolma-La is about 6km in distance. From Dolma-La the trail drops down to the narrow valley where there is a local tea shop. The path down to the tea shop from the Dolma-La is about 3 km. We have to be careful while walking on this part because this patch of the trail often covers with ice and screes. From the tea-shop to Zutulphuk, the trail is easy and flat.

Today is the last day of this divine circumambulation. Morning after breakfast, we pack up our gear and move on to Darchen. The trail from Zutulphuk to ending point (Zongdou) is about 7 km and you cover it within 3 to 4 hours. All members assemble in ending point then drive back to Darchen and unite with other members and we will start our return journey to Saga. The approximate distance between Darchen to Saga is about 510 km and it takes about 8 hours to cover the distance by drive. Evening, reach Saga.

NOTES:
AGE : Participants must be between 18 and 70 years of age. Those below the age of 18 must either be accompanied by a parent/guardian or a consent form need to be signed by them.
MEDICAL:
- Be physically and mentally fit.
- Please note that this trek is not advised for pregnant women and those suffering from chronic health problems, like epilepsy, heart ailments, uncontrolled BP, diabetes, asthma, psychological problems, physical disabilities and obesity.
PASSPORT : A valid passport is needed with a minimum validity of 180 days from the last date of the sojourn.Please note that diplomatic passports are not allowed.
- PIO/OCI or any other ID cards are not accepted in Tibet.
VISA PROCESS
- Indian Passport holders do not require a visa for Nepal.The Tibet permit and visa for everyone will be organized by To facilitate this, your original passport is required at New Delhi, well in advance prior to the departure date. The actual date and details will be confirmed based on the group you choose to travel with us.
VISA PROCESS FOR NRI
- Indian nationals do not require a visa for Nepal.
- For Non-Indian Nationals, Tibet visa will be organized in Kathmandu 4 working days prior to the departure. Request the NRI to be in Kathmandu for the visa process.
Foreign nationals will require a 15 days multiple entry visa for Nepal which can be availed on arrival at Kathmandu airport, Nepal. A visa fee of $25 is payable along with two passport size photos. Visa for Tibet will be organized by To facilitate this, original passport of Indian Nationals is required well in advance prior to the departure date. Details will be sent upon registration.
For Non-Indian Nationals, Tibet visa will be organized in Kathmandu 3 days prior to the departure. Request the NRI to be in Kathmandu for the visa process.
Booking Policy:
- The application should be submitted at least 30 days before the provisional date of departure.
- Minimum of 6 months valid Passport scan copy by mail or passport copy by courier should summit when the booking is made
- Upon the confirmation of booking advance payment of Rs.30000 which is nonrefundable.
- In the case of Lhasa Kailash tour deposit amount is USD 1000 or equivalent currency.

- The itinerary can be changed without notice due to unavoidable circumstance beyond our control such as political unrest, Natural calamities, changes in the itinerary by the Chinese authorities etc.
Cancellation Policy:
- Rs.30,000/- non-refundable, if the booking is done.
- No refund in case cancellation is done after your permit and visa.
- No refund or adjustment will be made in the event of interruption of journey by a client on his own after commencement of the tour.
- Any changes in given itinerary requested by the client will be on chargeable basis.
- Extra accommodation in Kathmandu over 3 nights as per itinerary due to early arrival from Kailash, rescue charges, medical bills are bill direct to Yatris.
- If the trip is disturbed in case of Visa/ permit problem create from Tibet, or any other reason which is not in our hand, it is clients own risk and all the expenses are paid by clients
