OVERVIEW

Kolkata is the largest metropolis of India and the Gateway of Eastern India. It has the oldest Catholic Church, St. Mary’s and famous Howrah Bridge, Botanical Garden the oldest and largest of its kind of India. Kalimpong a hill station offers a quiet and relaxed holiday destination to its very good climate . Kalimpong covering Durpin Dhara, Zong Dong Palri Fo-Brong Monastery and Flower & Orchid Nurseries. Darjeeling known as Queens of Hill Stations offers a picturesque view of the Himalaya. It is very beautiful with snow-capped peaks, beautiful valleys trekking to high altitude and toy train. Darjeeling has something for everyone with tea gardens with rich folk culture. Mt. Kangchenjunga is the highest peak in Darjeeling. You can see Padmaja Zoological National Park, Tiger Hill are famous and must see places.

ITINERARY

Day 1 : Bagdogra:

Meet on arrival at Bagdogra Airport and transfer to a hotel. Relax and overnight

Day 2 : Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri (by Train) / Darjeeling: (110 kms/ 4hrs)

Morning breakfast, checkout and proceed to board the train to New Jalpaiguri Station. Meet on arrival at NJP Railway station and transfer to Darjeeling. On arrival check into hotel. Evening free. Overnight.

Day 3 : Darjeeling

Morning breakfast, proceed for half-day tour to Rock Garden and Ava Art Gallery, Boating in Gangamaiya Lake. Evening free. Overnight.

Day 4 : Darjeeling

Early Morning at 03:30am proceed to Tiger Hill to see the breath taking sunrise over the Kanchendzonga Range of Himalayas. While returning visit the Ghoom monastery and Batasia Loop. Afternoon proceed for local sightseeing of Darjeeling, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) & Zoological Part, Tenzing Rock and the famous tea gardens of Darjeeling. Evening free. Overnight.

Day 5 : Darjeeling / Gangtok (160 kms /5 hrs)

Morning breakfast, checkout and proceed to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. This drive is along the side of the famous Teesta River and an experience. On arrival check-in to hotel. Evening free. Overnight.

Day 6 : Gangtok

Morning breakfast, proceed for half a day tour, visit Tibetology, Dorchul Chhorten Stupa, Rumtek monastery & Govt. Handicraft Centre. Evening free for shopping. Overnight.

Day 7 : Gangtok

Morning breakfast, proceed for full day tour of Tsomgo Lake at an altitude of 12,000 feet. Return to hotel. Evening free. Overnight.

Day 8 : Gangtok / Kalimpong ( 105kms /4hrs):

Morning breakfast, checkout and proceed to Kalimpong. On arrival check in to a hotel. Afternoon visit to Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brang Gompa, Flower Nurseries and Sericulture Research Institute. Evening free. Overnight.

Day 9 : Kalimpong / New Jalpaiguri ( 70kms / 3hrs) / Bagdogra ( by Train):

Morning breakfast, checkout and proceed to New Jalpaiguri railway station to board the train to Bagdogra. Meet on arrival at Bagdogra Railway station and transfer to Hotel. Relax and overnight.

Day 10 : Bagdogra / Kolkata:

Morning breakfast, check out and proceed to airport to board the flight towards Kolkata. On Arrival transfer to a hotel. Afternoon half a city tour visit Howrah Bridge, Victoria Memorial and Belur Math back to hotel overnight

Day 11 : Kolkata:

Morning breakfast proceed for local sightseeing visit Birla Mandir - built of Sandstone & Marble has silver & Belgian glass artefacts, Botanical Garden - The most important garden in the city. A 250 year old Banyan tree is the special attraction, Saint Paul’s Cathedral Beautiful architecture and exquisite mural paintings of the life and work of St. Paul captivates the visitors, The Mother House - has the tomb of Mother Teresa and a simple museum chronicling Mother’s life.

Day 12 : Kolkata:

According to flight timings drop to Kolkata Airport to board the flight for onward destination. Tour Ends.

DESCRIPTION

This tour can be booked by minimum of 2 persons up to 10 persons. We do not recommend add others to this tour. It will be you and your family or friends traveling in this tour by private vehicles only.

We offer the following categories of hotels:

Gold – 4 Star Hotels
Platinum – 5 Star Hotels

In cities where the categories are not available the lower category will be provided and rates have been taken in our costings for the lower categories.

You can choose from some of our most popular readymade programs or we can tailor a program just to suit your specific requirements. Alternatively, when you tailor your own tour, you can begin and end your journey from any City you choose within India.

This is a very exclusive way of discovering India. You have the choice of touring in a Sedan Car for up to 2 to 3 pax or in a Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) for 3-5 Pax. Our Experienced Chauffeurs will take care of all your needs for the duration of the tour. All Sightseeing Tours are on a Private Basis.

We can provide you an English Speaking Guide or any other language that you may require for all your Guided Tours at additional cost upon request.

Your Chauffeurs will offer you the greatest degree of flexibility, as he will be able to accommodate your needs and changes to your schedule even on short notice.

All our vehicles are fully air-conditioned, constantly maintained and are of the highest standards. All Chauffeurs are fluent in English(some other local languages) and have extensive experience in touring knowledge of their area.

Vehicles will be at your disposal from 0800hrs to 2000hrs daily. You may take regular stops and breaks at your leisure whenever or travel to places you would like to visit nearby.

2-3 Pax Silver / Gold customer will be travelling in Sedan vehicle and Platinum customer in MPV vehicles.
