OVERVIEW

Calicut presently known as Kozhikode which is a coastal city in Kerala where Vasco de Gama landed is a popular place to watch sunset. Malabar circuit is connected with Kabini, Mysore, Coorg adjoining cities of Karnataka. Mananchira Square, with its musical fountain, surrounds the massive Mananchira Tank, an artificial pond. From Calicut you can visit Wayanad wherein famous tea estates with tourist places like Chembra Peak, Edakkal Caves, Thirunelli Temple etc. From Wayanad you can visit Kabini for wildlife and visit heritage city of Mysore, Scotland of India Coorg and Bekal Beach in Kerala.

ITINERARY

Day 1 : Arrive at Calicut:

Meet on arrival at Calicut Airport and transfer to Hotel. Relax and overnight.

Day 2 : Calicut:

Morning breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing, visit to Krishna Menon Museum - This museum has an exclusive wing dedicated to the late V K Krishna Menon, renowned statesman. His personal belongings and souvenirs are displayed here, Pazhassiraja Museum and Art Gallery - A veritable treasure trove for historians and connoisseurs of art, the Pazhassiraja Museum is located in Kozhikode - the land of spices which lured navigators from time immemorial down to the Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama in 1498. Later on in the evening visit Kozhikode Beach - is a favorite haunt of sunset viewers. Its natural beauty and old world charm makes it a dreamy place to visit. The beach has an old lighthouse and two crumbling piers running into the sea, each more than a hundred years old. Return to hotel and overnight

Day 3 : Calicut / Wayanad:

Morning breakfast, check out of the resort and proceed to Wayanad. On arrival, check in to a resort. Proceed for lunch and relax. Afternoon free to relax at the poolside or go for nature walk and overnight.

Day 4 : Wayanad / Nagarahole National Park - Kabini:

Morning breakfast, check out and proceed to Nagarahole National Park - Kabini - Nestled in the southern fringes of the Nagarahole National Park, the Kabini area is a perfect getaway for nature lovers. The breathtaking locale with the tranquil backwaters of the River Kabini presents an ideal setting for a long-awaited vacation. Check in on arrival and proceed for buffet lunch. Wild life safari in the evening. Dinner and overnight

Day 5 : Nagarahole National Park - Kabini:

Morning wake up at 05:45hrs to get ready for Bird watching, Boat ride and Wildlife safari. Return to lodge at around 09:00hrs for breakfast. Relax or take a walk around the backwater area. Evening Safari, Dinner and overnight.

Day 6 : Kabini / Mysore:

Morning breakfast, check out and proceed to Mysore. On arrival check into Hotel. Evening visit Chamundi Hill - perched a top a hill-the 4.8m tall monolith of Nandi and the gigantic Mahishasura statue are added attractions. Return to hotel and overnight.

Day 7 : Mysore:

Morning breakfast and proceed for full day sight seeing, visit Maharaja Palace - the palace is a splendid structure in the Indo-Saracenic Style, among its many attractions are a magnificent gold throne displayed during the Dasara celebrations, Art Gallery - the art gallery in the Jaganmohan Palace houses an excellent collection of ceramics, sandalwood, ivory, stone, antique furniture and ancient musical instruments, St. Philomena’s Church - this imposing Gothic structure with beautiful stained glass windows and lofty towers is a must see. Later on in the evening visit Brindavan Garden - the Krishna Raja Sagar Dam after sundown, when musical fountains and colored lights transform this place into a magical fairyland. Return to hotel and overnight.

Day 8 : Mysore / Coorg - Madikeri:

Morning breakfast, checkout and proceed to Coorg - Few other places in the world are blessed with such natural beauty and fertility: Misty mountains. Myriad streams and waterfalls. Thick tropical forests also called as “Scotland of South India”. On arrival check in to hotel. Relax or go for a plantation walk. Overnight.

Day 9 : Coorg:

Morning breakfast and proceed for trekking or relax at the pool or visit Dubare Elephant Camp, Cauvery Nisargadhama - Nisargadhama teems with lush foliage, thick bamboo groves, teak, and rosewood, Bylakuppe- One of the largest Tibetan settlements in South India, it is known for its monasteries, handicrafts, carpet factories, and an incense factory, Return to hotel and overnight.

Day 10 : Coorg / Kasargod - Bekal:

Morning breakfast checkout and drive to Kasargod. On arrival check into Hotel. Relax and overnight.

Day 11 : Kasargod:

Full day relax at beach and overnight.

Day 12 : Kasargod:

Full day relax at beach and overnight.

Day 13 : Kasargod / Calicut:

Morning breakfast checkout and drive to Calicut. On arrival drop to Airport to board the flight for onward destination. Tour Ends.

This tour can be booked by minimum of 2 persons up to 10 persons. We do not recommend add others to this tour. It will be you and your family or friends traveling in this tour by private vehicles only.

We offer the following categories of hotels:

In cities where the categories are not available the lower category will be provided and rates have been taken in our costings for the lower categories.

You can choose from some of our most popular readymade programs or we can tailor a program just to suit your specific requirements. Alternatively, when you tailor your own tour, you can begin and end your journey from any City you choose within India.

This is a very exclusive way of discovering India. You have the choice of touring in a Sedan Car for up to 2 to 3 pax or in a Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) for 3-5 Pax. Our Experienced Chauffeurs will take care of all your needs for the duration of the tour. All Sightseeing Tours are on a Private Basis.

We can provide you an English Speaking Guide or any other language that you may require for all your Guided Tours at additional cost upon request.

Your Chauffeurs will offer you the greatest degree of flexibility, as he will be able to accommodate your needs and changes to your schedule even on short notice.

All our vehicles are fully air-conditioned, constantly maintained and are of the highest standards. All Chauffeurs are fluent in English(some other local languages) and have extensive experience in touring knowledge of their area.

Vehicles will be at your disposal from 0800hrs to 2000hrs daily. You may take regular stops and breaks at your leisure whenever or travel to places you would like to visit nearby.

2-3 Pax Silver / Gold customer will be travelling in Sedan vehicle and Platinum customer in MPV vehicles.
