OVERVIEW

It is a spiritual circuit one must experience. Varanasi is a city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh as the spiritual capital of India, the city draws Hindu pilgrims who bathe in the Ganges River’s sacred waters and perform funeral rites. You can visit Bodhgaya, city's winding streets are some 2,000 temples, including Kashi Vishwanath, the Golden Temple, dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Bodhgaya is one of the most important and sacred Buddhist pilgrimage centre in the world. It was here under a banyan tree, the Bodhi Tree, Gautama attained supreme knowledge to become Buddha, the Enlightened One. Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupandehi District of Nepal. It is the place where, according to Buddhist tradition, Queen Mayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama in 563 BCE

ITINERARY

Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

Meet on arrival at Delhi Airport and transfer to Hotel and relax overnight.

Day 2 : Delhi

After Morning breakfast proceed for full day local sightseeing visit tour of Old & New Delhi. Old Delhi - An ancient walled city. Visit Red Fort (visit subject to security permission), the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire, Raj Ghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India and Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colourful market of the old city. New Delhi - This city designed and built by the British in the 1920's - a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green parks and gardens. Visit Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate and Parliament House. Back to hotel and relax Overnight.

Day 3 : Delhi / Varanasi:

After Morning breakfast checkout and transfer to Airport to board the flight to Varanasi. Meet on arrival at Varanasi Airport and transfer to Hotel. Relax and proceed to Sarnath - the buried Buddhist city where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Back to hotel and relax overnight.

Day 4 : Varanasi / Bodhgaya:

Early morning breakfast checkout and proceed for boat excursion on the holy river Ganges to see the bathing ghats and cremation site. Later proceed to Bodhgaya - reckoned as the most important Buddhist Pilgrimage centre, in the state of Bihar, is the place where Lord Buddha entered into meditation after being moved by the sufferings of mankind. On arrival check in to hotel and relax overnight.

Day 5 : Bodhgaya:

After Morning breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing - Visit the Mahabodhi Temple, it is the place where Gautama Buddha got supreme enlightenment under a Bodhi tree 25 centuries ago, Later visit Archaeological Museum is a must for a religious art lover. Back to hotel and relax overnight.

Day 6 : Bodhgaya / Patna:

After Morning breakfast, checkout and drive to Patna enroute visiting Rajgir & Nalanda. Rajgir is a sight of great sanctity & significance for Buddhists. Nalanda is one of the Oldest university in the world. On arrival at patna, check in to Hotel Evening and relax overnight.

Day 7 : Patna / Kushinagar:

After Morning breakfast checkout and drive to Kushinagar enroute visiting Vaishali. At Kolhua in Vaishali, Lord Buddha delivered his last sermon. On arrival in Kushinagar, check in to hotel. Later city tour visiting Mahaparinirvana Temple commemorating the place of the great decease with a reclining statue of Lord Buddha, Ramabhar Stupa where Lord Buddha was cremated. Back to hotel and relax overnight.

Day 8 : Kushinagar / Lumbini:

After Morning breakfast checkout and drive to Lumbini - the birthplace of the Buddha. On arrival check in to hotel. Afternoon visit the site where Buddha was born 2500 years ago. Back to Hotel and relax overnight.

Day 9 : Lumbini / Balrampur:

Morning checkout and drive to Balrampur. On arrival check in to hotel. Later visit Saravasti the capital of the ancient kingdom of Kosala, has the honour for sheltering Buddha for 24 rainy seasons in the Jetavana Gardens. Back to hotel and relax overnight.

Day 10 : Balrampur / Lucknow / Delhi:

Morning breakfast checkout and drive to Lucknow, on arrival drop to Airport to board the flight to Delhi. Tour Ends.

This tour can be booked by minimum of 2 persons up to 10 persons. We do not recommend add others to this tour. It will be you and your family or friends traveling in this tour by private vehicles only.

In cities where the categories are not available the lower category will be provided and rates have been taken in our costings for the lower categories.

You can choose from some of our most popular readymade programs or we can tailor a program just to suit your specific requirements. Alternatively, when you tailor your own tour, you can begin and end your journey from any City you choose within India.

This is a very exclusive way of discovering India. You have the choice of touring in a Sedan Car for up to 2 to 3 pax or in a Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) for 3-5 Pax. Our Experienced Chauffeurs will take care of all your needs for the duration of the tour. All Sightseeing Tours are on a Private Basis.

We can provide you an English Speaking Guide or any other language that you may require for all your Guided Tours at additional cost upon request.

Your Chauffeurs will offer you the greatest degree of flexibility, as he will be able to accommodate your needs and changes to your schedule even on short notice.

All our vehicles are fully air-conditioned, constantly maintained and are of the highest standards. All Chauffeurs are fluent in English(some other local languages) and have extensive experience in touring knowledge of their area.

Vehicles will be at your disposal from 0800hrs to 2000hrs daily. You may take regular stops and breaks at your leisure whenever or travel to places you would like to visit nearby.
