DASARA GOLD CARD

Gold Card mainly is intended for tourists visiting Mysore during the Dasara season.

Gold Card is printed and sold by Mysore Dasara Festival Committee. They normally sell around 2000 cards on first cum first basis. Tourist purchasing Gold card get VIP entry to Mysore Palace to witness JambooSavari in front of Palace and also Torch Light parade same evening at Bannimantap. Further, entry to all major tourists' attractions in Mysore from 22^nd September to 2^nd October 2025.

The advantage of holding a gold card is it circumvents the need to buy separate tickets standing in long queues. In short, the gold card has access to most attractions and is a boon to a tourist who is hard pressed for time. 

It was priced at Rs.6500/-per person last year. Card holders get easy access / entry to witness 2 major events of this world famous festival:

1. Torchlight Parade: Evening from 19.00hrs to 22.00hrs. Or previous day rehearsal at Bannimantapa. (01st October 2025)
2. Dasara Procession (Jumboo Savaari): On 02nd October 2025, Chief Minister will perform Nandi DhwajaPooja between 1 P.M to 1.18 PM, during the auspicious Dhanur Lagna. The CM & other dignitaries will be offering floral tributes to the idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari kept in 750-kg Golden Howdah, between 4.42 pm and 5.06 pm, during the auspicious Kumba Lagna in front of Maharaja Palace.
3. Torchlight Parade: Evening from 19.00hrs to 22.00hrs on 02nd October 2025 at Bannimantapa.
