Location:
In Chowara at the south coast of Kerala near the popular beach town
Kovalam, The two spacious sister resorts are perched on a hill
overlooking the Arabian Sea. The cottages and Kerala wood houses built
in the traditional style lay scattered in the property; their
architecture fits perfectly to the tropical landscape of Kerala with
numerous palm trees. Criss cross up and down on the small footpaths
connecting the cottages. At the foot of the hill find the kilometre
long public beach on the Arabian Sea (4 - 8 minutes by walk).

Rooms:
The conveniently furbished round Garden Cottages provide shower/WC, ceiling fan, mosquito net, telephone and a small terrace. The Special Cottages offer in addition a sea view. Traditional style of living is represented in the wooden Kerala Houses each with 2 - 4 Deluxe Room (a/c)/Ordinary Rooms (non a/c), some of them have a small inner courtyard or veranda, or an open-air bath room. The Kerala Deluxe Suite
is a wooden palace like structure with a spacious living room and a
nicely decorated bed room with King Size bed. An open sit-out with a
lawn, surrounded by palm trees, is ideal to experience tranquillity for
body and soul.

Ayurveda treatments:
Both resorts have a long standing experience in Ayurveda. Each one has its own big Ayurveda centre
with a large number of qualified Ayurveda ladies and male doctors as
well as 70 therapists, diversified in Ayurveda revitalisation,
purification and selective Ayurveda treatments. After a careful
analysis of the patient data and detailed examination the Ayurveda
doctor will compose an individual treatment and menu plan for each patient.
More than 350 medicinal herbs grow in the own botanical garden.
The house-own manufactory processes the oil and tinctures for the
guests, stored in an eco-friendly way. All Ayurveda products
are fabricated with the utmost carefulness under strict control by
highly qualified doctors. Old traditional recipes handed down from one
generation to other provide the basis for the production. In 2002 the
resort achieved the award for the best Ayurvedic herbal garden of India. Guided tours with Ayurvedic experts can be organised for interested guests.

This is the oldest Ayurveda resort in Kerala which has won many awards from the Tourism Authority of Kerala.
Very competent and experienced Ayurveda team, large Ayurveda-centre,
all applied oils and herbs are self-produced. As per the old Ayurveda
teachings most of the rooms offer no air-condition. Family atmosphere,
also favoured by beach guests
